At One Less Smoke, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we keep it safe, and what choices you have. We built this self-help habit-tracking app to support your journey to reduce smoking — not to collect unnecessary data.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information: name, email address, and profile picture provided through Google Sign-In and Firebase Authentication.
• User identifiers: a unique user ID created by Firebase, and a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token used to deliver scheduled reminders and chat notifications.
• Habit and usage data: interactions such as logging cigarettes as smoked, postponed, or missed; schedule settings; reduction goals; wake/sleep hours; and app preferences.
• User-generated content: messages you post in the community chat and any support requests you send us.
• Purchase history: subscription status and purchase records verified through Google Play Billing and our backend server.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, videos, audio recordings, or data from dedicated health sensors. Information you voluntarily enter about your smoking habits is stored only to provide the app's self-help features.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and sync your personalized smoking-reduction schedule across devices.
• To schedule and display local reminders for planned cigarettes and community activity.
• To manage your account, Premium subscription, and trial status.
• To operate the community chat feature and deliver chat notifications.
• To improve app stability, fix bugs, and respond to support requests.

3. Health and Wellness Features

One Less Smoke is a self-help habit tracker and lifestyle companion. It may include relaxation tips and craving-management suggestions. It is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or smoking-cessation therapy. Any health-related information you enter is used only within the app to support your personal goals.

4. Third-Party Services

We use trusted services to operate the app:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, cloud storage, notifications, and analytics. See the Firebase Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Billing — for processing subscriptions and purchases.
• Notifee — for scheduling local notifications on your device.

5. Data Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), secure cloud storage through Firebase, and access controls. No system is 100% secure, but we follow reasonable industry practices to safeguard your information.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We only share data with trusted service providers needed to run the app, or when required by law.

7. Your Rights

9. Children's Privacy

One Less Smoke is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page and, when appropriate, communicated through the app or by email.
